I somehow have put the #1 and #2 turret in a halfway index between tool positions. That is the 11oo is in 1150 position and 2100 is in 2150 position. How can I get them back to normal indexing position. Thanks.

Thanks. yoopertool 02-18-2008, 10:35 PM if you could let us know what type of machine it is we could probably help you better. I know that on my Citizen you have to press a few buttons at the same time to unlock the turret. once you unlock it you can position it by hand and relock it in the correct position. you then have to tell it which tool position it is at. If you have a citizen let me know and I can go into further depth. Good luck! settingbur 02-18-2008, 10:51 PM Thanks for the reminder about type of nachine. It is a Citizen F-20 yoopertool 02-20-2008, 07:39 AM I have a citizen E-32 lathe and I think that the controls are fairly close, so I will tell you how I fix this situation. -Bring both turrets to their home positions. -go into the parameters and toggle "release turret 1" you will now use the buttons which are normally used to return the turrets to their home positions. They now release turret 1 and reclamp it. I cant remember which one does which, but it should be easy to figure out. -once it is released manually rotate it to T1100. it will spin freely, so make sure you get it close. -press the button to reclamp the turret. -go into the page where you type in tool numbers to change tools and type in 11 then cylcle start, just like you were changing tools. -go into parameters and turn off "release turret 1". if this works repeat it but for turret 2 using T2100. Good luck! settingbur 02-20-2008, 07:45 AM thanks yooper. Chuckforce 03-12-2008, 08:41 PM Depends on the year of the F20. What control does it have on it 10T OT 3T. It is not like a E32 AT ALL. Reading your post you have 1/2 index positions? It must be an OT control. Look in your manual for the Turret off position or call Citizen and talked to Tom Melnick in NJ or Brain Such in Chicago.
