Hi,

I am very new to all of this, so I hope you can help me out...

I teach a pre-engineering program at the High School level (www.pltw.org)

We are trying to grow the program and add more options for the students, including a protoype lab.

I would very much like to add a CNC machine for the next school year (08-09).

A local engineering firm has recomended the Charly4u/2u machine for our program. Small, safe, relatively inexpensive.

My question is, does anyone have any experience with this machine, or are there other equivalent machine that I should be looking at?
