As the thread title really:wave:
I've been a lurker for a while but i've taken the plunge and obtained a Chester Comet Lathe (Sieg C4) and an Axminster Mini Mill (Sieg X2) I've got absolutely no training with Metal working machinery although I did some wood turning at school - a while ago. I'm a hopeless modifier of anything I own so I don't expect the above to be stock for long! Already modded the Mill to belt drive so there's a start and looking in to CNC long term.
I've tried working through some of the CNC programmes - how the hell does anyone understand that stuff? :drowning: so I guess when it happens i'll be posting lots of dumb ass questions:)

Oh - I'm in the UK, I design buildings for my pennies in the real world and like to play with fast, modified, noisy motorcycles when I get the chance.
