Hello all,
I haven't been on for a while but I have just ran into a problem. I recently purchased a C&G Systems Plasma/Torch table with a Burny 1250+ controller. I am using Fastcam software with Fastnest. I have the desktop linked to the table with RS232. I also have the ability to transfer the program on a floppy disc. I have been doing fine drawing with the fastcam for any geometric shapes that I need to cut but now I need to be able to scan a picture or part and get it turned into a DXF file.
I do have Bobcad V21 with Bobnest v3.0 and BobART PRO-X. I have had it for a while but I haven't done anything with it. It does have a post processor library that lists the 1250 Burny.
I also have Corel Draw X3. This is also a program that I have had for some time and have done nothing with. I also have purchased Sheetcam and Mach3 although I don't have any idea where they are so I am sure I will have to buy them over. I purchased all of this about 2-1/2 years ago when I started building a plasma table. The table got put on the back burner and everything has just sat still. Now that I have purchased the C&G I really need to get up to speed with this stuff.
I really have no idea what software will be better to use for what I am needing to do or for that matter how to use it. If anyone has any insight or advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Chris
