View Full Version : free simulation software dertsap 02-10-2008, 02:42 PM http://www.cs.technion.ac.il/~gershon/NCSim/ smoregrava 02-10-2008, 05:28 PM Seems to be a very interesting software. Would it be possible to create a IGES from a G code file or did I not understand this rigth?? That would have been a very nice function for me. I really struggle with some STL files but I mannage to make G code programs over these files but i would be much easier to modify a IGES file. I have downloaded this so I will check it out. dertsap 02-10-2008, 05:32 PM its only a simulation software , you open gcode in it and watch it run , its good to test a program and see what will be produced before actualy running on the cnc machine Kipper 02-10-2008, 06:00 PM Screenshots look good....I'll be trying it out! hazemeshtine 03-07-2008, 03:39 PM The simulator's screen shots look really good... Thank you for your effort and for sharing Thanks in advance hazemeshtine jemmyell 03-07-2008, 05:13 PM I did an install and config, but got really funny results. I will try again using the sample gcode supplied, but I didn't understand the setup for simple 2D stuff. Still if I spend more than 10 minutes I may get better results! It was just not immediately real easy to deploy. casta-baga 03-14-2008, 11:26 PM I was looking for something like this, thats very cool, thanks I´m also looking for a free editor like cimco edit for example? anyone? dertsap 03-15-2008, 12:07 AM http://www.betatechnical.com/autonc.htm http://www.ncplot.com/ casta-baga 04-18-2008, 11:17 PM http://www.betatechnical.com/autonc.htm http://www.ncplot.com/ nice, thank you.
