This is a shot in the dark but maybe someone out there has had experience with a Crankshaft Machine Co. CNC mill with an Allen Bradley 8200!! Anybody? Probably not but anyway I hope you guys don't mind me coming here to vent about it. See I'm trying to get some programming support from the company and the only guy they have that is qualified to help me (that I know about) is off on vacation for another two weeks. This control has a tables section and I am trying to get my (sub-routines) lift data into the correct table. They are loaded into memory but I'm missing the toolbuilders "special codes" that they assigned to the machine which are nowhere in the books. Just my luck. Allen Bradley wasn't able to help since the toolbuilder assigned some of the codes.

Ok AB does make good controllers (my job leads me to deal with their PLC's for plant control), but most of the software to configure the units is proprietary, and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ And if it is an older unit good luck getting parts and decent support.
