I am considering buying a machine that has older control system. It is Dynapath Delta 2Y control.
I am looking for opinions on what new control would be suitable to replace it with. This is a dual CNC - conventional mill.
I would imagine the existing servos are DCV. I want something that anybody can walk up to and operate manually as well as work through really simple menu/picture driven programming. Would also like to have input for DNC if I desire to run g-code myself.
What would be the cost of the recomended controls?
Should something like this pretty well be plug and play or am I thinking way to simplistic?
Can I get a control that will work with the servos or will they have to be replaced?
I want lots of opinions.
