I am looking for a complete 5 axis Simultaneous retro fit kit i have used centroids m400 4 axis and am very satisfied but the 5 axis price is considerable more around 40K i am looking for something cheaper but i don't want to buy junk i am putting it on a mill port bt40 that has a 2 axis tilting rotary i have been running it on a 4 axis centroid and indexing the fifth with a baldor controller currently all axises are equipped with 40 inch pound dc servos but i am going to move the centroid to my bridgeport once I find a 5 axis for my millport so i will need a complete kit servos controllers cables everything any ideas on what kits, who would offer them and how much

I've been doing a lot of work on 5axis systems (machines - controls - software) and have discovered a 5 axis PC control package. Its a closed loop, AC servo motor ( up to 10kw) system that goes from PC to AMP to motors using USB 2 connections. It comes with many unique and powerful features that allow it (control and on-board software) to perform amazingly fast full 5 axis tool motions. Once a tool path has either been imported, drawn, or described using on-board software, it can be verified on the screen -then machined instantaneously - No "G Code" is needed however you can import existing G code, IGES, DXF, files - see the geometory on the screen and machine it with a keystroke. You will have to supply the PC and the servo motors or I can put together a complete turnkey package for a little more than 1/2 of your other quote. Get back to me if you are interested in more details.
