I'm using solidworks to design sheet metal parts. I've exported them as dxf and when import and open them in the plasmacam software the dimensions are way off and huge. How do I get the same dimensions as I had when designing the part transferred to plasmacam. Thanks for any help

I have no direct exoerience with Plasmacam.
In my other experiences with CAM, size deviation is usually a result of the way SW saves dwg/dxf files.
You should have a measure tool in plasmacam. Measure the length of something and check if it is reduced/enlarged by the scale factor of your drawing view in SW.
The options as I see (use) them is to re-scale everything in CAM
or
Make your SW dwgs with 1 to 1 view scale (best method). I also like to remove all extraneous crap as well, this is for CAM import not a shop drawing, no title blocks, no dimensions, no layers (except for object), etc.
