hello my name is fisa need help about manufacturing through promanufacture.i want to machied this part (see attachment iges format part file).actually i do work on cad site and little experience of 3 axis machining on wildfire2 .plz see the model i want to machined on top side helighted by three colours through 5 or 4 axis.can any one make a programme for me to learning the 4 and 5 axis machining i have 4.5 axis machine called DHA LIH with the attatchment of rotary and tilting table.
thans in advance

Hej,
I did a small mfg file for you in wf2.
I didnt see no reason for using 5axis, so it's only 4.
There are a few diferent examples of NC Sequences for you that I named accordingly.
The model you have as an example actually shows one of the very few weaknesses I know of Pro/NC. In this case you have a curved surface which has walls that are normal to this curved surface that you want to machine. Ofc you dont want to gouge theese walls.
Now, if this where to be programmed in 3axises you would have the option to use a Volume sequence which has alot of options for motioncontrol and stock allow. In the 4axis case as you have, you are (almost)limited to using a 4axis Surface sequence and this sequence has some problems of defining stock allow on theese normal walls.
Often a workaround can be found, such as using a bigger mill in ProE than in you physical mill. Another way would be to use a mill surface that is designed smaller than your milled surface to allow for a stock allow. Sometimes such a surface can be tricky to achieve.
In your case the above is pretty simple after all, but I've had similar surfaces with alot more features. The only way I found in that case was to flatten the whole part, and program it in 3axis. After that we used a customized postprocessor that bent the Gcode back to its curved shape.
I realize the above can be a bit confusing with all words and no pictures, and I'm uncertain of you level of knowledge of ProNC.
Anyways, just ask if you need further help.
Thanks, Jonas
thank u very much sir.i am just come from my office and fortunately i m seeing ur reply. i will check ur mfg file and hope fully this is good solution for my problem.i u need some thing from me then just ask me .
thanks again.
hello JonasC hoe r u . this is request that if u have any tutor about that type of machining which u show against my post post about 4or5 axis maching.can u send me .i saw ur machine file and its realy that i want.
thanks asif fsa
