I AM NEW TO RUNNIING AND PROGRAMMING CNC'S AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO FIND THE BEST KIND OF BITS AND BRANDS TO USE. WE CUT ALOT OF 1/2" AND 5/8" PARTICLE BOARD, AND 3/4" SOLID STOCK. IF ANY ONE WOULD HELP ME THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
THANKS,

Dear CABSPEC22,
I have a lot of respect for the tool reviews in Fine Woodworking magazine. Last summer they reviewed some different makes of router cutters.
www.whitesiderouterbits.com/ToolTestRouterBits.pdf
Whiteside and Eagle came out tops. I can't claim to have used them because I'm on the "rip-off Europe" side of the pond, and we have a limited range of tools available (all at vast expense compared to N. America).
Anyway, I hope this is of some use.
Best wishes,
Martin

Check out Hartlauer Bits in Oregon.

1-800-644-2487 They can and will get you going.
They have been very helpful in all my cnc router bit needs including the Belin.y bits.

If you want one-pass cutting, and arent needing "perfect mirror finish" edges, use a chipbreaker style bit.

These give a really good cut in Particle Board, MDF etc... as well as solid wood.
also, get ahold of these guys, they make alot of their own tooling

I make mostly signs with my CNC and I use Centuriontools.com. I'm pretty sure they manufacture their own bits.
Their prices are reasonable, good quality and geared towards CNC machines.
