I'm new and finding my way. I started programing and running NC equipment in 1970. I know that most of you came in later, but I want to buy a Lathe and convert to CNC. I'm looking at the Sieg lathe. Because I'm doing R&D at the moment. I don't need a big machine so I thought it would work. I have a limited budget as I am testing some ideas and don't have any backing. I need all the help I can get as this is all new to me. If I hadn't come across this site I wouldn't even know that people built their own CNC's. So here I am asking for your help.
