I got a mold made for a product I have,just got it delivered.The guy did a great job.I had to close down my last shop,I was making a tool kit with old machines,turret lathes,hand crank milling machines,and I'm a contractor ,I do painting and smaller jobs.Things got tight in the housing market and the over head was killing me.Plenty of people want my kits,I just need to implicate my new manufacteing process when I get some money,Hopfully from the new product.Injection molding is a lot better than cranking out parts manualy,Dan

Depends on the material flow properties. For high flow materials like acetal(delrin) you need at least 2-3 tons of clamping per projected sq. inch of all parts runners. For somthing a little more resistant to flow like poly carbonate (lexan) you can easily expect to triple the clamp tonnage requirement. A lot of machines out there for reasonable prices, but don't forget the rigging on both ends and freight, not cheap.

You might be better off contracting time on sombody elses machines or have them shoot parts for you. We offer these services in NW Ohio on our 100 to 400 Ton presses. from $30 per hr.

Yes,I have a guy that is supposed to make some parts for me.
I know a lot of machines are as is where is.I 'm just looking for now,thought if I look long enough,I might find a old one close that needs repair,cheap.
I can fix stuff,Ive been a mechanic for a long time.I do all my own work.Rear end,motors,machines no problem.Just make sure I can still get parts.
My product has a "locking tab"for lack of a better word,I didnt want to use the word "clip"and ears sounds weird.But any way,I just got the web site up and will be adding credit cards and some better pictures as soon as I get the right plastic and some parts.
I'm trying to make the product as durable as possible.I would rather it cold form,rather than snap or shatter when its frozen.
The locking tabs are 90 thow thick.

The current parts were some kind of nylon to test the mold,after they have been in the freezer,you can bend them backwards and they snap and shatter.You have to try to break them,they wont break during normal use.
