I was wondering if there is a way to turn the brightness of the screen down on an older model VF-O. We replaced the CRT screen a few months ago and the orange text appear to be really bright. Is there a parameter to adjust maybe?

It is not a parameter,there is a little adjustment screw/knob on the side of the monitor. You may be able to find a plastic plug blocking the access hole on one side or the other or you may need to take the back cover off to get at it.

Thanks for the reply Geof. I remember seeing the adjustement knob on the original screen, but couldn't find it in the replacement unit. I guess i didn't look hard enough. I'll try taking the cover off and checking again.
