HI,

Does anyone here have an St-10 lathe from Sharp. I'm thinking of buying one and wanted to know how good they are. I don't do anything extreme I just need a CNC to help step to thee next level in my shop. I don't have alot of money to spend. I have seen there mills in action and I like them, they are pretty well priced so that's why I thought about the lathe. Does anyone have any problems with them are they reliable what type of machine is it compared to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey PBMW, how much did the Daewoo cost and whom did you buy from? How much HP at the spindle?

I bought a 220a Lynx
I think it was 63k The only thing I bought extra was a chip conveyer. Came to $67 or $68k
It's 20hp. and will machine rings around my Haas. I like it!
