I have been having some problems with my tool changer Z height hitting properly after a tool change. I am using WinCNC as a controller and I suspect that I have a problem with my interface cable as the connection wavers occasionally. There is no problem hitting the tool changer accurately. Although I have had occasional problems homing the machine properly. I have auto stops that set the machine but sometimes the machine doesn't hit one accurately and I set that axis individually.

It just seems like there is a loose connection somewhere. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any thoughts would be welcome. Sometimes the machine runs great, but sometimes it doesn't, and I can't see any particular pattern.

I have had the homing problem before. I found that it is the push on wires right at the switches. I soddered mine and never had a problem again. I t was homing and then it stops becuse the switch did not sense it. I also just set up my ATC and doing the tool HT switch also have one that it when down and just stopped the button did not respond fast enugh. hit the Page up button and try again. but mostly I have found this to be the push conectors right at the switches.

you will notice they gave up a sub fourum for all shop sabre and one for camaster sub fourums to better find info on each.
