Hi
Quick question do you guys power your router separately or do you power it off your psu that gives the steppers their power

Separately.
A "router" needs 110 to 220v (depending on country).
A "spindle" usually needs a Variable Frequency Drive and maybe 220 to 380v.
Your stepper drivers (lets say Geckos) usually need 30 to 80v depending on the motors.

I'll answer the question that I think you're asking. :)
I have one mains supply (240v) coming into the box containing all the electronics.
Including a SSR which switches the router. Have no problems with this setup.
So the answer in yes.
