Can you make Thread?
I have retrofit a CNC lathe with Mach 3. Now how can I make thread with Mach turning? I think it's not easy without servo spindle, isn't it?

you can only do threads with a spindle that is ac or dc motor with encoder on it,maybe with a stepper motor with encoder

Basically you must know the exact location of the spindle right?
I have an AC motor (not servo) with an encoder but i don't know how to do thread

You need one sensor on yor spindle to trigger once per rev. It is shown in the manual. I have mine setup and have cut threads several times. There is a threading wizard (simple threading).

Dear Jim geib
First thank you for your reply,
How do you set up your sensor? I am pretty new to this. Could you please teach me? I don't know how does the sensor work with Parrallel port. For example parralel port on my pin 12 always give 4.5V. So i am not sure how to connect them. Please help. Thank you :)
