I am using lazy cam to create my tool path from a dxf file from Bobcam. My z is always coming out on 60 before plasma torch on (m03). Does anyone have any ideas? I am using Lazy Cam in the plasma mode.

I had the same issue. click on the "layers" tab, then enter your desired height. at least I think thats how i did it. In the end I still use sheetcam:) john robin 11-30-2007, 10:31 AM Thanks John really simpe fix. Have not been working with Lc long mostly use Bobcadcam. One quick question about sheet cam can you nest in that program? John johnt 11-30-2007, 01:52 PM Yep, you can. There is even a tutorial in the program to show you how. One thing I didn't catch on to right away was how to open different drawings on the same screen. Quite simple though... under the file menu, choose "open new part". HTH , John |
