Hello All,
I purchased the Rockcliff plans and have been reading here and the plans alot. My question as far as plug and play type of motors and control system what does everyone like or use? I'm looking to keep it simple little soldering as possible. Thanks and I've seen some very nice builds.

A complete 3-axis system ready to run, no soldering at all.
And low cost, I have orderd the 3-axis set for my self last week.
Because I lve in the Netherlands the low dollar is an advantage.

will the 400 oz steppers be ok for rockcliff design? this a better deal for 400 oz.

Bigger is not always better, but they will work.
I have ordered the 260 oz stepper set. (1,8 kg/m)
Although I have no experience at the moment this should be sufficient
On a Rockcliff drawing is a comment that states a minimum off 200 oz steppers to be used.
As sone as the machine is ready to run I will let jou know the results.

Hello.

Will these machines cut aluminium in small depths and with very low IPM?
I am building a home made router of my own design :), and was wondering what it will be capable of. For the leadings I use sliders of a dresser instead of linear rails and sleeves, the reason for this is just to make it cheap.
