I know over the last year I have learned a lot of things. How to do it the hard way and how to do it the easy way. I wanted to start a thread were everyone can come and share their Tips, Tricks and Jigs. I have seen a lot from how to turn down lead-screws using a angle grinder to making your own nuts. This thread doesn't have to be just for making a cnc. Some woodwork, metalwork and have interesting hobbies that some would never try because a part of it looks to hard to attempt.

If you decide to participate I would just ask that you explain how you learned this technique, how it helped you and a few pictures.

I will try and keep a list on the first post with the Tip,Trick or Jig and what post number it is at. I don't know how long or how many times I can edit this post so I will try my best to keep a list somewhere in the thread.

How to do an easy layout.

First design your part in a cad program. Next you will need to buy full sheet Avery Peel Labels. I found mine at walmart for 6 dollars but here is a link to the product. http://www.avery.com/us/Main?action=product.Details&catalogcode=WEB01&node=10210893&productcode=3383. Print One To One ratio. Next cut out and apply to whatever you need to cut out or drill. And here are acouple of photos to show all. Also they peel off easily on wood and leave no sticky stuff and come off easy on metal with wd40.
