Hi folks,

I'm trying to establish what business type software packages (Non CAD/CAM) are being used in peoples shops right now. It doesnt matter what its being used for, I'm just curious about what the actual packages are....did you get it custom made, buy it off the shelf, is it a 'home-brew' for your specific needs and if so what software did you use....what's being used...if any? And if your ok with sharing, how much did it cost? Shout out!

Thanks. :)

Hey, thkoutsidthebox

I'm not sure If this is what your looking for?

The place that I work at has a program (Kelch Easy) for our preset machine (preset form tools & drills etc...).

It's an awesome package, it has a database that stores all the info. for each machine (approx. 30 machines) most machines have approx. 10 tools/drills, & we can add as many as we want

Here (http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.kelch.de/%3Fcat_id%3D95&prev=/search%3Fq%3DKelch%2BEasy%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DHPIA,HPIA:2006-29,HPIA:en) is a little more info. & some screenshots, again a very cool software package for our preset machine.

Later...

lol, no harm. Thanks buddy. Long time no see, hope your keeping well. So does your company use any software packages that are Non-CAD/CAM for calculating job quotations or similar? :)

I work for a very large company, I'm not 100% sure but I think they just switched to this (http://www.sap.com/solutions/index.epx) software.

I'm not sure what exact solution they chose?

Are you working on your own database?
