Is it possible to cut a certain type of wood with a HAAS and a two-flute endmill? And I have to mention that I don't know what type of wood would be used because I think it would splinter and crack.
That'd be great though if I could use wood, or some other material close to it.
Any suggestions as to alternatives to wood?

I have been using 2-flute, solid carbide, aluminum cutting endmills exclusively to cut wood for the last 3 years. I find them to stay sharp for a long time, and they are inexpensive from msc industrial supply.
Of course, I run them at 24,000 rpm.

Btw, a my uncle used to be a machinist for Kenner toys, among other outfits. He said they made prototypes out of mahogany because it is VERY machinable, less tearout. I couldn't agree more.
