Hi folks.

I have been searching through this forum months after months and I still do not understand much about the world of CNC. So, I decided to post a thread to ask you guys for help on my needs.

My setup: Sherline 6200 Ultimate Package
Material to work on: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Plastic, Carbon Fiber and Fiber Glass.

I will be getting the Sherline's Stepper Motor Mounts once I had concluded what I will need to convert it into a CNC System.

So far, I have read on HobbyCNC, Xylotex and Kelinginc CNC Stepper Motor + Drive packages.

Can anyone enlighten me on what CNC packages should I go for based on my purpose?
Also, what else should I know about CNC before choosing which package to go for?

Note: I have decent skills in Electronic Soldering and ProE.

Anything over 100 oz. The Hobbycnc looks good as with the Keling

Thanks for the input ZipSnipe.

I'm currently thinking of going for the following package:

Is there anyone else who is able to give me some opinions or comments about it?

Also, should I be looking for other Stepper Motor and Drive packages?
