I painted the frame with anti-rost primer. The website translating is almost done :)

Steel is the thing. I like. :)

I made CAD drawnings of spindle and here is couple of rendered pictures (made with CATIA V5)

Bearings: a pair of 7204's and one 6004
Tool holder: ER20
Material: Aluminum

what top speed do you think the spindle will run at?

About 8000-9000 rpm's

Pre-assembled machine. Z-axis is still under construction.

people will probably be most interested in that spindle before much else I think.

You probably could sell a few of those if the machiening was not that expencive (don't know if you thought about that).

I got my spindle done. Visit my website to view video (projekti 2). At the beginning of the video there is 1000 rpm and at the end 10 000 rpm's (spindle rotates 8000 rpm's cause of pulleys)
