Hey, here is a crown that I made on the cnc using Madcam. Originally, it was 10' long. This is left over from making a custom mantle.
The 10' piece needed about 2 minutes of sanding and I ran it through the table saw to cut the back angles.
Tools used, .5" downcut for roughing and profiling, .25 ball endmill for surfaces and 90deg insert v-groove for top angle, base angle, 90 corner for the dentil molding and for each little step between surfaces.
