has any here used them?, can the one unit do 6 axis with one box?

Ya I've got one. Does work for steppers or servos but consider it as the gobetween or interface for pulsing geckos which actually control the power to move the stepers/servos based on the pulses fed to them by the g100. Mach rather then pulsing the parallel port to the geckos sends out network packets to the G instructing it where to go and it generates the pulse calculations to the geckos.

It replaces pulsing the geckos working directly with a parallel port.

I have one how ever I lost my interest in blazing new trails with the users who were early adopters and do most of my control with parallel port interface. Some day I'll get brave and hook it up again (I have it in my power supply and can swap it in just by flipping some micro switches.)

Worked good at the start. but got it to solve other problems that were not related to my computer's performance. Thus once those were solved I didn't need the G to solve my problems.
