Any idea of what does H00 mean in a tapping canned cycle?

G84 X0 Y0 Z-.75 R.8 H00 F5.

This parameter is generated from my postprocessor for all tapping operations.

What is your machine's control? Fanuc, or propriatory to the machine? (lathe, mill, drilling machine?)

Not knowing any better, it looks like your G43 (G44) its TLO is being canceled for the tapping cycle.(?)

But checking on the net it might just be a work offset call, so a H00 could then be the same as a G54 in other systems. But that is just my guess. (does it work ok?)

Anyway not knowing the type of machine and control you are using, and not having any experiance with an H word in the tapping cycle. I really don't know. But you got my interest.
