Hi Everyone. I have just bought a mill and am learning how it works.
i am trying to make a recess in a piece of alum. There are two bolt holes 1.968" apart which are included in the 0.060" recess.
What I would like to do is to bevel the top of the recess edge. I have been looking for a 9/16 end mill with a 60 degree outside bevel but those don't seem to exist.
The bolt holes are 21/64ths. The recess connects the two.
I could use a bevel cutter but when I get to the radius of the recess I make a mess.
My machine is grizzly G0619 6"x21" Mill.
Is there an easier way than I have described? or am I making no sense at all?
thanks for any help ,
Rob
