The system may sometimes seem to be at a halt, although no alarm is
displayed. In this case, the system may be performing some processing.
The state of the system can be checked using the self-diagnostic function.
-
Diagnostic Screen, #Diag 700, 701, and 712

Start simple:
-
Check for proper air pressure (if needed)
-
Check all fluid levels
-
Check the state of spindle chuck (open/close) and proper setting of OD or ID operation
-
Check all door interlocks are made
-
Check status of barfeed (if applicable)
-
Cycle tailstock forward/back, quill in/out (if applicable)
-
Confirm that diagnostics 700, 701, and 712 are all zero's when trying to start

I hAVE THE SAME MACHINE AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.

WHEN YOU PUSH CYCLE START DOES THE (GREEN)CYCLE START LIGHT COME ON AND DOES THE CYCLE TIMER RUN. IF SO YOUR MACHINE IS WAITNG FOR
A SPINDEL ARRIVAL SIGNAL TO RUN. BUT THE THE SPINDEL DRIVE NEEDS TO BE TUNED FOR THE X AND Z AXIS BEFORE THE MACHINE WILL RUN. tO CHECK
THIS LOOK AT DIAG 800-801-802-803 THEY SHOULD BE 0 + OR - 2.

MINE WAS + 23 FOR THE X AND -17 FOR THE Z YOU NEED TO ADJUST THE

SPINDLE DRIVE SCREWS TO BRING THEM CORRECT READING

IF YOU NEED HELP WITH THAT LET ME KNOW
