Hi all.

Being in a remote location 'downunder' - and add to that the difficulty in contacting Tormach some of you are having - and running a commercial toolmaking and machining business.......I think it prudent to order and carry some spares.

Love to hear your thoughts on this - please list any bits that are most likely to give me grief ! regards

Tormach has a sales worksheet for maintenance parts here:

http://www.tormach.com/ShoppingCart.htm

just click on the "Order Worksheet - Maintenance" to see which items they sell, in the form of an Excel spreadsheet. The "Order Worksheet - General" link above that has line items near the bottom for a 12-month warranty extension and a spare parts kit that might also be worth exploring.

Based on my experience, I'd definitely consider a main control board and probably a few of the other electronic boards (VFD, stepper driver), plus a spare master collet. Basically look at the essential components and buy from Tormach what you can't get locally.
