I just bought a Hurco VM1. I use FeatureCam 2007 and it works flawlessly with my Fadal. I have not had any luck using the supplied post processor from FC. The folks at Hurco say to just use a Fanuc post, but it always crashes. What do I need to get started?

Hi!

I run my VM1 on SolidCAM with the machine in ISNC-mode and with a basic ISO-POST. Works every time. The Fanuc langauge is a bit different then Hurco-Fanuc. I got problems with the Fanuc POST regarding circular interpolation and CW / CCW directions sometimes. Probably some settings, but no time to mess with it.

I work with Hurco, and run Solidworks off of the generic Fanuc post, and run Mastercam as well. I know we have people using FeatureCam successfully, so I am sure with a little work we can get you up and going. Email me at falkj@hurco.com and we will see what we can do to get you up and running, without having to edit your code.
