There's a DNC for Linux at http://www.dnc-x.com

You'd need to check it out to see if it does what you want but it won't cost anything to try because it's free.

Sorry about the double post. My first one didn't appear so I did it again.

I could not get dnc-x working on any flavour of linux. It would not receive anything through serial port but may be able to upload.
