Anyone know what this Bridgeport was called with this kind of head set-up? It has a J2 2 H.P. head with a 30 taper spindle. The ram is about 12" wide. Had an extension added. We brought it down from a shop we bought out and used it once for a special job and seemed to work well. What would something like this be worth? We need to get rid of it to make some room. Thanks.

well, looks like a series 2 nc base, with a 'T ram' and probably an aftermarket riser, probably semi custom, but not sure

Do I not recall that these were supplied with multiple heads and called a hydratrace or some such. Used to make several of an item it once from a master.

Hi gtrjunkie

Gus is right as somebody has put that T Ram and Head from another
Machine onto the series2 CNC The T Ram was used for the Hydratrace Machines which was not cnc the series 2 was a 3axes cnc the head was
the third axes, the head on yours is a manual head so it is only 2 axes
unless the Knee has been converted to the third axes I think it would
be called a Bridgport Series2 Bitsa (a bit of this and a bit of that)

Thanks for the replys. The T-ram does say Series II on it though. The knee is CNC also. The head has An automatic drawbar and brake control.

Where are you, does the cnc control work and what do you think you need out of it? Thank's Kevin

Kevin, Yes the CNC control works. I am in the Pittsburgh area. Price would be about $4000.
