The last time I took a look at dolphin cam. The 3d machine package was a sprutcam product. The product was going to be updated with dolphins own code. Has this been done yet?

The other product I was interested in was the lathe package. Drawing inside the lathe software was not available at that time.

Can you draw 2d shapes while you are in the lathe package now?

Is there a mill routine to machine a trochordal toolpath along a line?

Thank You

The 3D Machine package is a sprutcam product that has some revisions done to it to make it more stable. We are still working on creating our very own 3D Package, but that is still in the works and not done yet.

As for the Lathe you use the DCAD package to draw and then select the contours to be machined and selet Lathe Module and the contours that need machined are brought up with the Lathe machining operations.

As of now the "Trichordal" toolpathing is an option in the Dolphin 3D CAM Level II, but not in the Partmaster programs. There could be a script written, but it would be an additional cost. It has been put on the development list for now though.

Thanks,
Chad
