Hi,
I am half way through building a Rockcliff CNC machine (http://www.rockcliffmachine.com/cnchome.htm) in 18mm MDF like they suggest and I was wondering what would be a suitable router to use on this machine. I live in Australia and would like to be able to purchase a suitable router for it in Australia.

Thanks in advance.

I would suggest this one as it will have the power you want and many people including myself have now used them in many different machines with very consistent and good results. It will fit on the machine but would be larger than the hand router that machine would normally use. You could look to the Hitachi hand router also.

Hi,
Thanks for the great post. I am also now looking for routers which are a bit smaller physically but are also a bit lighter.
