I want to ream a 1/2" hole for a force fit bearing in 1/4" aluminum stock.

Given the tools I have, I have to do a pocket using my 1/4" roughing endmill, and then ream.

The pocket I created is .450 in diameter, at a depth of .27 (in FCAM). For some reason FCAM is calling up for a secondary rough cut with this pocket + the finish cut. I just want a regular rough and then finish.. no double rough cut.

I am unable to change the machining attributes, or milling strategy to remove this secondary rough cut... Whats the deal with this?

I get an error in my operations list telling me that this secondary rough cut is unecessary.. why does it keep coming up?

machining attributes, try "total stock"

You might check in milling attributes that multipule tool is not on
