Well I got my machine and have not been cruizing the cnczone because i've been busy playing with the machine. I built a generic stand so that i could get the machine off the floor.. but nbow realize that I should have opted for the deluxe stand.. being a machinist in real life does not make me a fabricator although if I had all the tools I could build something better then what I am using now.. going to redesign and build another once I get some time. I really really like the machine and the more I use it the more comfortable i get.. I'm used to using Fanuc controlled machines but the user inter face is pretty good on this. I program with geopath and master cam. I have ran the post that I use at work and the machine responds well.. there are a few liitle change that i'm working out. (other than G28 Z0.. i use G0 G40 G49 G80 G90 Z0 .. in the Fanuc it cancels the hieght offset and sends the machine to Z0 or Z home the tormach doesn't do this .. any Ideas? I would prefer not to use the g28 z0 if I don't have too..)

Any have any pictures of thier stand that they have built so that i can see thier ideas?

Thanks

I should receive mine next week!!! (probably on tuesday). It will have all options (deluxe stand, 4th axis, tooling, ...). I will program it with Mastercam for sure (best Cam package in my opinion...)

Instead of the G28, I think there's a macro for toolchange, so you probably can use it. Did you add a G91 with G28 Z0? If not, try it.

I've already done my post for this machine,so when it'll be fine tuned, I can send it to you if you want (I'm pretty good at doing posts for Mastercam)
