Laser Pro 25W

Just wondering if it is possible to use this machine to cut "more or less" a stamp out of Delrin with this type of machine? I have a customer who has one and insted of me machining them he would like to cut them out with his laser, the letters are raised about .05-.075. must be pretty sharp corners. He said he has hered of it being done by another company me I can't picture it...But if so any one know of good starting condition?

Thanks for any help!

These lasers are made to do rubber stamps. I have not gotten into it, because it's a smelly job, and it's hard to compete with on-line rubber stamp dealers.

I'm surprised it's not covered in your manual. Here's how I would do a Delrin
sotary seal using 1/16" material. You need to make a male (White lettering on black) and a female (inverted and mirrored male). The male should have no outlines, but the female should have .007 to .010 outline.

Then add a .001 outline around the seal to cut it out.

In your case, for a simple stamp, just do the male part.

Rubber stamps are more involved.

Setting should be close to this:

Engraving - speed 90% power 90% Cutting - Speed 16% Power 100% Frequency 1000
