How small is small?
My System2 in the users gallery is 36x48 with useful working area less than that (short THK rails -- an eBay bargain I couldn't pass up.
I plan on reconfiguring it (down sizing to match the THKs). Then it will be 30x24 or so. Is that small-- or medium?

I have a 24X24 but I have a lot of 8020 and was going to build a 12X12 for for small Item.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I've been looking at the McWire plans on reprap.org. Ideally, I'd like to build this using 1" or 1.5" square pieces & using a dremmel as the cutting tool. The basic frame is pretty simple, I'm not sure how I'd do the z-axis.
