Is there anyone out there who can digitize my templates in Australia?
I can not seem to find a service anywhere, these are flat plywood templates, any help appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
what are these templates for? What precision do you need? Do you need 2D or 3D data?

Hi, templates are used for fibreglass boat construction, probably only +/-2mm accuracy would be acceptable as most are hand cut at the moment.
2D is all i need i beleive.

Hello.
I saw your comment concerning laser digitizing.
My name is Ottmar Petry from Witten, Germany.
I work since 1985 on CAD/CAM/CNC for woodworker and have contact
to a producer of a laser-digital-device for digitizing workpieces from
0.05 m to 200 m with an accuracy of ± 1.5 mm.
The device can either be used in a manual mode in order to digitize
certain points on a workpiece or in an automatic mode digitizing
a certain range or area fully automatic.
This device could e.g. be helpful to digitize boats or parts of it.
If you are looking for such a solution, please let me know.
Have a nice day.
