I've always been told the Magnaturn 612 was an import rebranded by South Bend. If this is so, does anybody know who makes it?

I find this doubtful. All the boards and some other stuff in the control cabinet are clearly branded South Bend. If the 612 was a rebranded machine, their name would not be all over the parts inside.
