hello all:

i have come across a Prolight 1000 CNC made in 1995 (a result of a divorce settlement that the guy's wife got) and am considering it for one-off work for engineering prototyping. I am only an old lathe lathe guy at best and not a machinist but i think this machine might be good for our use at the right price.

Can anyone point me to a fair offering for this machine or offere advice on what to be wary of or to be looking for?

It is very lightly used from all appearances
It has an optional misting system
It comes with computer and software
It has a 4-position tool kit

Thanks in advance for any input

Hi, I just saw your post- do you still need some help with this or am I too late to be of assistance? -Ryan
