Hi Everyone!

Last week i ordered one of Joe's puzzle-machines and am waiting for delivery and at the same time slowly sourcing parts and information with as much "North of the Border" content as possible.

My Wife and I often go to Niagara Falls N.Y. to shop and I am trying to develop a useable mail-drop in the N/Falls-N/Tonawanda area to pick up any parts that are not easily available here. (It's safer and easier to import the parts personally.)

I intend to build solid body guitars once I am finished with this machine and eventually work on up to making necks. I will also explore the art of cutting circuitboards. I build tube amps also and it would be nice to have the machine assist with the creation of cases and other parts.

I'll be going with the Hobby CNC package and 305oz motors and have to decide on software..........any suggestions??

I'll try and keep this build current with photos and information.

Thank You! The degree of cooperation on this forum is absolutely amazing!

Hello Mike,

Welcome to the club, look forward to your build log!
I use AutoCAD Lt 2006, VCarve Pro and Mach3 for all of my work.
I also have Cut 3D and PhotoVCarve, all from Vectric.

I have a friend from Oakville who has a drop box in Niagra NY. Personally I used Mailboxes Etc in Plattsburgh (I am in Montreal) and it cost me $5. PM me for details if interested. I am just gluing mine up now. Pricey, but if you value your time it is worth it.
