An operator bumped my tool probe on my 2004 SL10 the other day. Now, when you touch off tools...they are way off from what the machine cuts.
How do I recalibrate the tool probe?
Thanks.

By the way...any one know the cost of a lube oil pump? Seems this is the latest thing to die on this piece of crap.

The manual has the procedure to calibrate the probe. I've done it several times. It's not hard just follow the procedure in the book. Sometimes, you may have to cheat the numbers a little to make it set each tool correctly.

lube panel not working .. what exactly is not working .. the lube pump is going to cost over $500 easily ... if you can pinpoint problem it will be a lot cheaper ... tool probe needs to be indicated on top and side to make sure it is squared .. then calibrate .. then checked for repeatability

The machine gives an occasional low oil pressure alarm. The pressure sensor measures correct for output with 40 some odd lbs of pressure. All of the oil lines have been purged and the manifold cleaned numberous times. the only thing that I can think of to check is the pump. Can it be rebuilt? or does Haas only sell a new pump?

on the diagnosis page there is a bit that show low lube. Pump the lube pump manually and see if that bit changes .. if it doesn't then the sensor is bad .. a lot cheaper to fix.

I assume since you purged all the lines, that you checked for loose fittings and/or cracked lines as well. I mention that since you say it is an occasional thing.
