Are all these models greased way systems? I asked the rep if they could be converted to a auto lube system using regular way lube. He said no way. I have a 10. Fadal would not sell me the sheet metal so I am making my own. Any 15 owners have problems with the greased ways in a coolant environment? How often do you lube?

we have 1 linear way (grease) and 5 box-way machines (way oil) and each have their advantages. the coolant in the linear way machine stays much cleaner and lasts far longer, due to the constant supply of excess oil in the box way machines. we lube the linear way machine every friday.

Thanks for the reply. My rep recommended 6 mo. That seemed like a long time. I also lube at different points in the travel. I dont use it that much, but should get more use once I finish the sheet metal. Its quite a chore. Thanks again.

I am almost done with the sheet. Did it in stainless. Looks like a huge refridgerator. I thought about putting a ice dispenser in the front:)

I took the way covers off today to replace the rubber wipers. Could not believe how weak those linear ways looks. The saddle looked like a perimeter frame. No heavy cuts here.
