Just had a friend stop by with an unusual request (for me anyhow). He needs to produce samples of steel (type TBD) approximatly 50mm X 150mm x 1mm, with the 1mm thickness tapering down to a point across the 150mm length (same taper both sides). My only thought was to surface grind it, which I do not have the equipment to do. Am I missing something obvious?
