Guys I used smartcam in my previous job to program the weidemann Press for sheet metal applications we used AutoCAD for drafting.

I started these new job and they use Striker.
I have no idea on using the software at all.

Anyone got any tutorials, notes or videos on how to use striker to program the press, Burny or vertical mills?

Another question is... which is the best program to use smartcam, striker, bobcat or any other program.......simply which is the easiest to use and cheaper to run and operate efficiently!!

Denny,

The company you are working for will have to get you training on Striker. Or the other option is you could talk them into purchasing a seat of SmartCam to eliminate any learning curve. I here Striker does OK but you always have to have a seat of AutoCAD to run the software.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your response. I am familiar with AutoCAD. The striker company send me some videos and they are very helpful. I managed to program the Press and the Burny machines and seems to be working. Striker is very user friendly and 10 times easier to use than swartcam. I am really shocked at the features it has....
