View Full Version : Dynamyte DM-3000 lathe schematic
Jeff-Birt 05-25-2007, 06:25 PM We have an old Dynamechtronics DM-3000 CNC lathe that I would like to convert to Mach II control. (Just finishing up a DM-2400 mill conversion) I have all the manuals for the machine but they do not contain a schematic. Dyna will make me a copy of one for $15 but they have a $50 minimum, which makes for a really expensive copy. I was wondering if anybody else might have one they would mine sharing.
Thanks,
dammachines 06-14-2007, 02:33 AM Hey Jeff,
If you're not able to get a hold of a copy let me know. I've been meaning to purchase a few parts for my DM-3000H lathe (big brother to yours) from Dynamechtronics and just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm sure I'll be well over their $50 minimum when I'm done... :(

Jeff-Birt 06-14-2007, 01:02 PM Thanks Dan. I did finally get a line on a copy of the print from a nice fellow fron the forum here. We have a large format scanner on campus, so I will scan it incase anyone else is in need of one.
Rickady 08-24-2007, 12:10 AM Hi, I just got a Dyna 3000 lathe and would like to have a copy of the schematic. I also have a few questions about the lathe if somebody has the time...
1. What is the bar feed option?
2. What is the prob assembly option?
3. What is the sync port for?
4. Does anyone know where I can get some parts for it?
I have a few more questions but it would be nice to know what this stuff is.
Thanks
Rick
bgncglocker 08-24-2007, 11:10 PM Just got one myself, still trying to get it too work, I just got the manuals today from the builder,
dyana mechtronics , 1752 junction ave, suite e, san jose,CA 95112
tel 408-452-1010,
operations manual 25$ maintenance 25$
not sure about parts, but I hear they have some.
Rickady 08-25-2007, 09:41 AM I played with mine before I even got it off the trailer, HaHa.
I even put a little bar stock in the chuck and turned a little off of it in manual mode.
I need to learn the book first, before I brake something?
I ordered BobCam for it. Hope it works out.
bgncglocker 09-30-2007, 09:49 AM I could really use a copy of the schematic for the dm3000, anybody got one or a copy, would be glad to pay for it, just hate to give Dana $50 for one
also anyone know how I would check out the spindle motor or driver one this
thanks

TGN3EHG 07-05-2008, 01:45 PM Hey guys. First post here. Kind of a buried place to post it.
Anyways, it would be great if I could get that schematic as well? I just bought a slightly used but currently not working 3000 lathe for $200.
Want to get it working and then possibly switching over to Mach3 with BobCad. Anyone else running this or any other set-ups?
Also, if anyone else has the manuals for a 2400 mill I would be willing to pay $$$.
Thanks,
Tom N

Brick58 07-25-2008, 02:02 PM I do have the schematics for the 3000H. This is the larger hevy duty version. I don't know how compatable the schematics would be.

cnczone6453 08-24-2008, 08:17 PM Hello all- new to cnczone. I am helping a friend get his newly acquired DM-3000 lathe operational. Are the schematics that people are referencing actually wiring diagrams? I am looking for machine wiring diagrams and schematics at board level. Are these both available? Anyone have copies they could send me? Also, is there a service manual available. I greatly appreciate any assistance here.
Kind regards,
Mike
