does anyone know what the replacement is for cimtech's 350 synthetic coolant
from what i understand it has been discontinued

we are currently using fuchs which is absolutely pathetic oil , recommended general machinine level is 7% if tapping 15% , im ready to pour it straight from the barrel into the machine ,saves the time of adding a few cups of water to a 5 gallon bucket
from what i understand it is cheaper , but it can t be that cheap if i have to use double to triple of concentrate to what i would use with the other , plus the corrosion resistance is terrible tools are rusting sitting in the magazine or on the carts ,
absolute garbage ,may as well use straight water

i had used the 350 from cimtech before which was a killer coolant but i need to find what the replacement is and if it s near the same quality
anyone using it ???

Have you seen the various posts in other threads about Blaser. There is a rep down in the Seattle area who comes up frequently, there are a few local shops using it; I think Teleflex on 6 Road is their biggest local customer. I had the rep in and was thinking about switching but so far have not done anything. We us Shell Dromus which is less expensive and provided you keep the concentration above 10% does not give any rusting problems. I am not sure but I think the present distributor is Finning. I don't know how good Dromus is on stainless, it is fine on aluminum and leaded steel.

i ve worked with swiss lube before it s ok stuff , i really want to convince the company to go with the cimtech ,it is by far the best one i ve worked with , the only issue i ever found with it was if a guy forgot to blow off the table on friday nite there was a thick layer of oil on monday morning ,a coolant blast alway cleared that quickly enough
summers coming and if another new product is going to come in thru the door i don't want it to be anything that goes skanky

if your interested in the swisslube i think Belmag in coquitlam here may have it , i know he was pretty keen on it

Everything, just about, goes off in summer.

I will contact Belmag and see if I can get a sample.
